Avoid becoming a victim of scams and fraud!

ALWAYS:
  • Arrange to meet so the buyer can examine the item before payment
  • Be suspicious of too-good-to-be-true offers;
    there's probably a catch
NEVER:
  • Send money before you've seen the item
  • Send an item before you have been paid
Well known classified scams:
  • Cheap overseas phones (iPhones etc.)
  • Cheap laptops (MacBooks etc.)
  • Cheap loans (overseas)
  • Get rich programs
  • Advance funds fraud
  • Puppy scams

Happy Retirement <br>Linda Hirtle (Nee  Happy Retirement  Linda Hirtle (Nee Winstanley)    Linda, originally from Trail, graduated in UBC’s 5th Dental Hygiene Class  in 1975. She worked for The Broadway Dental Group and a Periodontal  Specialty Practice in Vancouver. As Salmon Arm was short of dental  hygienists and Chartered Accountants, Gerry & Rita Chu convinced Linda  (Rita’s classmate @UBC) and her husband Rick, to move to Salmon Arm  in 1978. Linda worked for Drs Rich Mori and Bob Munro while in the  Salmon Arm Dental Group, then joined Gerry & Rita at CHUDENTAL in  1983 until her retirement in April. Linda was a caring, gentle and thorough  professional. The many patients she touched with her clinical expertise and  high standards formed strong bonds with Linda and credited her for saving  and maintaining their oral health so they could enjoy eating throughout their  lives. They will mutually miss one another. Linda served as the President of  the Okanagan Chapter of the BC Dental Hygienist Association and had been  involved in study clubs and continuing education throughout her entire career.  Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement after a 49 year career, Linda.  All of us, colleagues, friends and patients will miss you at CHUDENTAL. We  know you will enjoy retirement and be busy with your grandchildren, clarinet,  church, golf, friends, Rick, etc.
 
Happy <br>Wedding Anniversary to <br>Bob  Happy  Wedding Anniversary to  Bob and Margaret Martin  as they celebrate  on June 29th.  With love from your two daughters  Allison and Andrea and their families.  Thank-you for being such wonderful role models  in life and in love.  We love you both to the moon and back.
